Cathedral museum of Sacred Art
Where you will find a collection of religious arts divided in four rooms, carved wooden, liturgical ornaments, silver crafts and pinacoteca. The museum this located inside the Cathedral.

Museum Ethnografico El Arenal
Located in the island of the murals. It has a collection of utilitarian craft and decorations of the following ethnic groups: Guarayos, Chiquitanos, Ayoreos, Izoseños, Obstruct-Guarani and of the mestizo culture of the valleys.

Museum of Natural History Noel Kempff Mercado
Clerk of the Autonomous University Gabriel René Moreno. It is a valuable collection of botanical exhibitions, animals, fossils, rocks and minerals. It is also where you can find the fossils of some dinosaurs not far from the city.

Place where the city of Santa Cruz settled after being transferred from Chiquitos, about 20 km from the capital. Here lies the famous sanctuary of the Virgin of Cotoca, patron of Santa Cruz's department. Laguna Palmira

The fort of Samaipata
Is the most important archaeological place in the eastern part of the country and it was named Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity by the UNESCO. The Missions Jesuit

El Pantanal

Lomas de Arena del Palmar
They are big dunes of sand without vegetation. Located some 16 kms to the south of the city of Santa Cruz. To the feet of these hills, they are lagoons of crystalline water where the swimming and the camping sites can be alternated with walks by the extensive sandbanks, or the walk by horse, or simply to observe the pampas birds that inhabit the place.

Amboró National park
Located in the proximities of the populations of Warnes, Montero and Portachuelo going into more the majestic forest of the Bolivian east, you arrive to Buena Vista and later on to the Park Amboró, unique ecological park, with flora and endemic fauna. In the area they can be carried out eco-touristy activities, photographic sessions and camping.
